where can i get exam material since there is no any testing center in africa.
i have tried to take the test but i keep on getting 67% and the pass mark is 70% also there is no testing center where i am in DRC even in eastafrica which offer this certification.
if anyone has taking this test i will need his help.

Kaspersky keeps finding Mem:Trojan.Script.Angrypower, but nobody else.
Have a client with a Dell laptop that came with a version of Kaspersky AV. For a few days now, the AV is coming up with a message that it found a malware called Mem:Trojan.Script.Angrypower. And it keeps coming up when selecting the option to "disinfect and restart computer".
Every thing seems to be running fine (well, after I solved the problem of a stuck Windows 10 update that prevented it from booting up all the way). And I ran all the updates for Kaskersky, to no avail.
No other AV or anti-malware that I have thrown at this finds ANYTHING, and all the Google research that I tried comes up only with absolutely bogus "virus removal expert" websites, which all just try to entice you into downloading some obscure malware removal tools.
No info about this on any reputable anti-virus/malware web site/blog/forum pointing to some info about...

Kaspersky Security Center 10 - Best practises for MDM installation
Hy everyone,
last week we swaped out our ESET AV with Kaspersky Endpoint Security Select. After implementing it on our ~70 workstations and servers, we are looking forward to connect +manage devices, that aren't at our the local network really often (i.e. notebooks of the management or Android/iOS phones/tablets) - because ESET missed this feature, it wasn't practicable anymore.
I looked around to find some best practises or recommendations for installing the MDM server and connecting the devices but my searched wasn't successfull.
So my questions to the Kaspersky-Pros:
- do we need a addiotonal server at the DMZ and does this one need to have a Windows OS?
- is it possible to host the MDM server "in the cloud" (without VPN connection to our main-network) and connect it to our on premise KSC10?
- do we need something else to connect and manage...

Kaspersky Endpoint Seurcity blocks incomming PDF's from scan/fax
Hy folks,
two weeks ago we switched over from ESET to Kaspersky Endpoint Security 11. Since KES was installed on our main fileserver (Win Srv 2016), incomming PDF documents (scan and fax) from our Utax (branded Kyocera) MFP's get "blocked". The files stay in a format like "temp_#date#_#time#" insted of getting transformed to "#ScannerID#_#date#_#time#_#random number#.PDF" - I can add the ".PDF" manually, then we're able to open it normally.
Another phenomenon is, that documents are empty randomly. In this case the size is 0 KB and our PDF-readers show up error messages like "Error while opening file." with some chinese symbols.
I already set up a rule that prevents Kaspersky from scanning the traget folder(s) and that disables the firewall temporary.
Some ideas how to fix this bug/error/what ever? Thanks for every reply! :)

Which version of kaspersky anti virus to install on servers?

Kaspersky Security Center not installing approved patches or updates
I recently updated Kaspersky Security Center to 10.5.1781 and found it was handling manual installations of software much better than previous versions, as well as much more reliable interaction with KES 11 vs prior versions.
All our workstations have been updated to the latest KES 11.0.0.6499 and NetAgent 10.5.1781 as well.
The problem I've run into is that I have a LONG list of approved Windows security updates and patch, but they aren't being installed.
As an example, KB4022146 is a security update for Excel. It was successfully installed on 35 machines. but the remaining 5 say "Assigned" and haven't gone anywhere since the actual installation task ran on Friday night.
Varying patches and updates all have random numbers of successful installations, with the remaining machines all sitting with the status of "Assigned" but they aren't...

Kaspersky license agreement and geographic restrictions/limitations
Some time ago, a system admin that used to work for the company (he is gone now) purchased Kaspersky Endpoint Security Select for our company office in Cyprus (part of EU). Our company is expanding into other countries and I am looking at whether it is allowed to reuse spare hosts or we need to purchase a new license key for other countries (Russia, Ukraine, Singapore). My problem is the following: when I have contacted the distributor who sold us the Kaspersky license, they claim that we can use the license worldwide. When I have contacted Kaspersky in Moscow and UK, I was told that it is not true and for each country, we need to purchase a separate license through a local distributor. Now, I believe Kaspersky that we need to purchase a separate license for each country, however, no one can provide me with an agreement (or another...

KasperskyNetwork Attack Blocker and Firewall blocked shared network drive access
Hello Guys,
I am using Kaspersky Total Security in all workstations and one of the workstations folder X is shared with all. Network drive was mapped at users end to that folder on X machine. As i restarted that machine and my domain server, the shared network connections got blocked until i disabled Network Attack Blocker and Firewall feature of Kaspersky Total Security AV in that workstation. Since leaving both disabled is not a good idea, can you suggest other reasons of this issue?

KSC 10 - WSUS patch get slowly deploy and slowly installed ... any idea ?
OK so KSC with anti-virus and wsus been up for a while (couple months) and it is slowwwwwwly working it's way to our computers.... The major problem is that it takes honesly for ever to install and 1 installation is blocking the other one....
exemple 1: of my laptop been up for over a month and still uploading patch files.
exemple 2: can't upgrade a pc because WSUS files get's send to that pc.
So with all that is there something that will get things done faster.
And the longer it takes to install the larger the files get stacked on the server and the less space i get.

PS: Is it possible that if a task is schedule (wsus update as exemple) for wednesday for exemple. Then that task if not completed it get's put's on hold ?

Karspersky Security Center 10 Web Control Rule Problem
I have a rule to block google and other web search pages.
But now we need a page tha use the google captcha and with the rules blockin google the captcha is not displaying.
the rule block *google* and *.google.com/* and I add rules at the top of the list allowing *.google.com/recaptcha/* , *.google-analytics.com/* , *.google.com/js/bg/* , *.gstatic.com/* , *fonts.gstatic.com/* *fonts.googleapis.com/* and the page where the captcha apears.
but Still is not displaying the captcha, when I disable the rule blocking *google* and *.google.com/* the page displays correctly the captcha.
Is there someone who knows how to solve this?

Delete/clear virus report in Kaspersky endpoint security 10
Hi guys,
I am running Kaspersky endpoint security 10 and also security center 10 on the server.
I have cleared the reports on the workstation already but when I run this virus report on the server(as in the image im sending you) I can still see all the history, how do I reset this report?
The only option I see if I right click is refresh and delete, I have not tried delete yet because not sure if it will do any harm.

KES 11 false positive?
Yesterday had a PC in our office flag up a virus. First time in years that one had "got in". I check the PC and Kaspersky KES 11 has flagged it as "Trojan.multi.accesstr.a" and blocked it. OK, so it has done it's job, I disinfected the trojan from System Memory (not in any file), rebooted and did a full scan which came up clean. Sigh of relief.
Then it popped up another PC. Then a third. Now I am panicking a little, but I know Trojans don't "spread". The third PC wasn't even in use that day, it was just sat at the logon prompt.
The other two PCs both also came up clean after a disinfect, reboot and full scan.
Had a 4th PC flag it this morning.
False positive? KES is being updated in the background all the time but I can find zero information about this trojan on the web or Kaspersky's website. Considering I have almost 300 PCs on site I...

Kaspersky Security Center 10.5
Our KAV Security Center has been unable to download updates for the better part of a week.
The process starts, but cannot get beyond 77%. No changes to the Firewall.
I've updated to the latest version, rebooted the server, all to no avail. Any help appreciated.

exclusion
Hi experts we are using kaspersky security center 10, on one of the server lets say SRV01, kaspersky security 10 for windows server is installed on it
one file is quarantined , in quarantine i can see the path C:\ProgramFiles\mysoftware\xyz.
The xyz file is geniune, i want to restore this file and add in the exclusion please guide me as i am new to this product.

Kaspersky Security Center 10 Events
Hi Guys
I am looking at the notifications on our Kaspersky Security Center 10. I want to be able to view a report when a virus is received on one of our RDS servers. I have the agent configured and Kaspersky seems to be working as when I run the EICAR test virus it detects it almost immediately and displays a warning on the desktop.
I want to be able to see a report of all these events, but when I go into the Event Selection and nothing appears to show up. So I know there has been an event, I triggered it with the EICAR virus, the agent reports that it has detected the virus and dealt with it, but I cannot see anything in the logs on the Administration Server.
I don't want to rely on users reporting the message, potentially I would like to be able to see this for myself too.

Hi Guys trust all is well..
please see attached issue that im facing for some reason , kaspersky quarantined some files of a client...i tried cleaning the PC but all looks fine,i tried restoring the files back but it keeps going to the quarentine status...I tried all i know but cant fix it...The files dont have any viruses and funny thing about this is that it only took specific files from a folder so i dont know what to do..I tried to google ,youtube but no one seems to have resolved this issue...

restore removed file
Hi experts
I am using KSC10, kaspersky has removed one of the exe file and it show in the events object removed.
This exe file is application file and its genuine as i have checked with product vendor.
i have added this file in Trusted process-exclusions.
Trusted Processes-Exclusions-Settings
Add- Selected-Objects to detect- given the below path
\\server01\c$\Program Files\software\file.exe
How can i restore this removed exe file.

Kapsersky endpoint 10 Update
Hi i need to figure out how to update the kaspersky endpoint software to the Maintanance release 3 with out creating a separate task, currently when kaspersky is installed onto a device from the administration server it will up date to include service pack 2 MR1&2 , but i cant figure out how make MR3 do the same thing, i would rather not have an additional task to manually update it if possible. any help would be appreciated
